I came to her with hardly more than an idea for my first book and she has helped me every step of the way.
She was my editor for my story and helped my story be so so much better than it would have been on my own. Then she helped me with art direction and mentoring. I illustrated my own book and it's my first time illustrating anything like it. Again, she helped my illustrations to be so much better than they would have been.
Finally, she designed my book and made it look absolutely adorable. Without her, my book would likely not sell much. But she helped me create a book I can he proud to sell and I can't wait for children to enjoy reading it with their families.

As an independent author, especially early on in the journey, there is SO much we don't know. In fact, there is so much we don't even know that we don't know. HA. And while there are so many different paths to moving forward with publishing your beautiful book, finding the right people to help you along the way is absolutely crucial and can make or break how this journey turns out. I cannot express enough how grateful I am that my path led me to Andi.
We were connected at a time when I really needed support for my book—more support than I had even realized. I was becoming discouraged and unsure if what I had created was even good enough. Andi was recommended to me as a rhyming editor to take a look at my second children's book, that I was drafting.
