Children’s Books That Inspire.

Creative Support That Empowers.

Whether you're looking for beautiful children's books or you're dreaming of creating your own, you're in the right place.

Welcome!

hERE IS THE AREA TO TELL YOUR STORY.

I'm Andi. I'm a children’s book author, illustrator, editor, book designer, and creative mentor with a heart for storytelling and a life full of adventure.

My life is pretty unique, so if you don't know me yet, you're in for a surprise

(and probably some oversharing, so fair warning! ha).

If you're interested, you can read the backstory here:

When I’m not traveling or out exploring somewhere in nature with my husband and three little ones, you’re likely to find me working on a creative project (or seven!).

I believe in living boldly and chasing dreams, and I LOVE helping other authors and illustrators bring theirs to life, too.

I've built a life—and a business—rooted in connection, creativity, and the belief that great books and meaningful dreams really can change the world.

I’m so happy you found me. I'm here to help however I can.

Let's make some DREAMS come true!

Publishing resources

I work with a lot of first-time authors, and one common thread among them all is the feeling of complete overwhelm with the publishing process. I get it! I've been there too. While I wish I had the time to personally coach every one of my clients, there just aren't enough hours in the day.

So, as usual, I got creative to find a way to help. I partnered with an author friend to create a Publishing Roadmap, full of video tutorials and all of our best tips to guide authors through each step of the publishing process.

We're also continually working on posting free resources to YouTube and building a supportive community on Facebook.

Portfolio

One of my biggest strengths is tapping into the emotion behind each story and using that to bring everything together, creating a singular, cohesive look and feel from cover to cover. You can check out some of my Design and Illustration projects here!

Testimonials

I can't say enough good things about Andi.

I came to her with hardly more than an idea for my first book and she has helped me every step of the way.

She was my editor for my story and helped my story be so so much better than it would have been on my own. Then she helped me with art direction and mentoring. I illustrated my own book and it's my first time illustrating anything like it. Again, she helped my illustrations to be so much better than they would have been.

Finally, she designed my book and made it look absolutely adorable. Without her, my book would likely not sell much. But she helped me create a book I can he proud to sell and I can't wait for children to enjoy reading it with their families.

Andi was incredibly sweet and patient while working with a total newbie like me who had no clue what I was doing. And she was always quick to respond and to deliver edits. I highly recommend Andi. I'm looking forward to working with her again, on my second book.

Andi is an outstanding editor for so many reasons!

I've worked with her on a number of projects and she is equally outstanding at editing rhyming books and prose books.

Additionally, her creativity, imagination, and ability to meet the author where they're at helps to polish the author's story so it shines bright, while still maintaining the author's unique voice.

She is a children's book author herself, as well as an illustrator, book designer, and mother of little ones, so she understands not only how a book will layout well, but also what language is age-appropriate and engaging for kids — this is all extremely helpful information for an editor to have in their editing toolbox, and it makes Andi exceptional at what she does.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, she is a wonderful communicator, a passionate individual, and genuinely cares about authors and their projects.

These qualities make working with Andi enjoyable, easy and fun!

I hope you enjoy working with Andi as much as l do! You and your work will

be in good hands.

As an independent author, especially early on in the journey, there is SO much we don't know. In fact, there is so much we don't even know that we don't know. HA. And while there are so many different paths to moving forward with publishing your beautiful book, finding the right people to help you along the way is absolutely crucial and can make or break how this journey turns out. I cannot express enough how grateful I am that my path led me to Andi.

We were connected at a time when I really needed support for my book—more support than I had even realized. I was becoming discouraged and unsure if what I had created was even good enough. Andi was recommended to me as a rhyming editor to take a look at my second children's book, that I was drafting. I had gotten some mixed feedback on it and I was very anxious to hear what she would say. But I didn't need to worry because this was the turning point where my publishing journey became so much easier and clearer.

Andi is not only exceptionally talented, but is an excellent teacher. She was able to see the potential in my book and assured me immediately that we can fix it and get it back on track.

She suggested we begin with my first book, which was already being illustrated, just so we can tweak it and get it to a better place.

Throughout the editing process, she didn't just provide suggestions and guidance but was a true collaborator and ally.

Since that time, she has edited my 2 rhyming books with absolute expert care. I also hired her as a designer, which further elevated the books to give them a gorgeous professional look.

And for my second book, I was also extremely fortunate to secure her services as my illustrator.

There are many editors and designers and even illustrators. But there is only one Andi, who has all these skills and talents, combined with patience, kindness, and compassion.

Highly recommend!
